Crow’s feet — even the name of those tell-tale wrinkles at the side of our eyes is ugly, although the more optimistic of us like to refer to them as ‘laughter lines’. They appear when the skin loses collagen and hyaluronic acid, but one thing’s for sure — those of us who have them don’t find them funny.
Botox is used to soften wrinkles and improve appearance. It is MHRA approved to be injected between the eyes in the glabellar complex (the 11's) , the forehead and crows feet.
Botox can be very effective at reducing the very deep lines forming around the eyes. 7.5 to 10units can be injected on each side with injections spread over 3 - 4 areas. Most of the improvement can be seen in roughly fourteen days.
